Configuration & Use
The Supercat is a high mobility highway and
off road unit originally designed for the armed
forces and used by the Royal Marines worldwide.
It has extremely low ground pressure and can traverse
a wide variety of terrain that would defeat conventional off road
vehicles. It's compact body results in a very agile unit
that can access complex areas such as large event car parks, woodland,
blocked streets and USAR incidents. The vehicle can wade and swim.
Technical Rescue Mode
The Supercat is configured with a load rack on the
rear cargo body. The unit has lifting and lighting capabilities,
providing a very flexible deployment tool. UKOS provide a range of
mission
specific profile loads to deal with incidents such as; large animal
rescue, rescue from height, flood and water rescue, technical rigging
and stabilisation, body recovery and boat deployments.

Technical Rescue Module
Flooding and Water Incidents
Amphibious - can swim in water up to 4 knots
Wading - ideal for flood evacuation.
Used very successfully to support flood operations.
The high mobility of the unit increases efficiency during the evacuation
phase. Flood logistics using the Supercat reduces personnel
risk by minimising exposure to contaminated water. It removes personnel
from the need to wade for logistics deployment
significantly improving efficiency, reducing risk and minimising
work fatigue. The boom makes the launch and recovery of small boats
a much simpler and safer drill.

Telescopic boom
Disruptive weather
The supercat can be used successfully for emergency
transportation and access, to support front line teams and maintain
critical services.
Key equipment movement. Recognisance - access
to snow bound remote areas. Transportation - delivery of supplies
and critical staffing to snow bound forward operating areas. Search.
Emergency evacuation.
The vehicle improves safety for any personnel exposed
to operating in snow and ice conditions and limits the exposure of
your own fleet to driving in marginal or dangerous conditions.
The combination of low ground pressure and small
vehicle footprint (it can rotate within it's own length) coupled
with the power of the vehicle and it's lifting
capability makes it an excellent asset for the recovery or deployment
of assets.

Disruptive weather deployments
Blocked & Challenging Access Events
The cross country capability (the vehicle will easily climb motorway
and rail embankments) combined with it's small size and high agility
make the Supercat ideal for access to events where normal road
access is either impaired, lost or not available.
Our units have been successfully deployed to events such as; blocked
motorways, USAR incidents, rail accidents, downed aircraft, remote
areas.
The unit is highly flexible, agile and fast allowing for rapid
deployment and super mobility.
Specialist Recovery & Animal Rescue
The combination of high mobility, cargo rack and
mounted telescopic arm makes these units very flexible and versatile.
We have been deployed in support of FRS attending small aircraft
crashes and used for the recovery of aircraft to the road head. The
unit is also highly effective in large animal rescue.
The unit can be used for cross country towing of
other assets.
